Iratxe Pérez Barandalla is a spanish filmmaker and screenwriter. She starts as script supervisor for cinema, series and commercials.
She creates her own production company and travels to Algeria and Cuba to record her first film "Caribeños del Sáhara" (2007), which participates in International Film Festivals. After directing a second documentary of a more personal nature, "Auzolan" (2012), presents "180º Rumbo a la luz" (2015). Months later she premieres the journalistic documentary "Montejurra'76" (2016). The same year, she participated as a camerawoman in "Taikofilm" filmed in Japan, USA and France. In 2020 she promotes the collective documentary "Cuando volvamos a vernos" and in 2021 the WIP "Pioneras del rock".
She is currently preparing the premiere of the feature documentary "Todos los sabían" and in development of her first feature film "El abrazo" and the tv serial "Camping".
As executive producer, she supervised the films "Un sol salvaje" (2021), "Amarás" (2022), "El paso trascendental" (2022), "Átropos" (2024) and "The last doll" (coming soon in 2025).
